Why

You already get the receipt.

Every card swipe, UPI payment, and bank debit sends you an SMS. That message already has the amount, the merchant, and the account — it's just sitting in your inbox, one message per transaction, with no total and no pattern visible.

Denier reads what's already there and turns it into a record you can actually use.

How it works

    Reads

    Denier watches for transaction messages from your bank, card, and UPI apps — nothing else. It runs on your phone.

    Understands

    Each message is parsed into an amount, a merchant, an account, and a date. Debit or credit, recorded either way.

    Categorises

    Food, transport, bills, shopping, health — sorted automatically. Anything Denier can't place is marked Uncategorised, not guessed at.

    Learns

    Correct a merchant once and Denier applies it every time that merchant appears again.

Categorisation

Automatic, but not silent about it.

Denier ships with rules for common merchants and payment patterns. When it's confident, a transaction is categorised the moment it arrives. When it isn't, the transaction stays Uncategorised instead of a wrong guess.

You can assign a category by hand — including one you've made yourself — and that correction sticks. The next transaction from the same merchant carries it automatically.

Privacy

It stays on your phone.

Denier has no account, no sign-in, and no server. The messages it reads and the transactions it builds from them are stored locally, on your device. Nothing is uploaded.

Denier requests SMS permissions for one reason: to read transaction messages and turn them into records you can see. It does not read, store, or transmit anything else in your messages.
